Description:

WARNING: This product is for research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

Resazurin is an oxidation-reduction indicator in cell viability. Resazurin is a blue, non-fluorescent dye originally used to test milk/biological fluids for bacterial and yeast contamination. It is also useful in sperm viability and semen quality test. Resazurin is applicable in cytotoxicity determination. Resazurin sodium salt has been used in viability assay: such as to measure cell viability of A. fumigatus; to assess cell proliferation; and to determine A. fumigatus viability in high-throughput screenings of microbial natural extracts.
