MedKoo Cat#: 527515 | Name: Trodusquemine free base

Description:

WARNING: This product is for research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

Trodusquemine, also known as MSI-1436 and MSI-1436C, is a protein tyrosine phosphatase PTP-1B inhibitor potentially for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Trodusquemine significantly enhanced insulin-stimulated tyrosine phosphorylation of insulin receptor (IR) beta and STAT3, direct targets of PTP1B, in HepG2 cells in vitro and/or hypothalamic tissue in vivo.
