Oglemilast, also known as GRC 3886, is a potent and selective PDE4 inhibitor (IC50: 2.5 nM (PDE4B) and 1.7 nM (PDE4D)). Oglemilast was a drug under development to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD)—a lung disease—and asthma. In 2009, Phase IIb trials was failed.
