Description:

WARNING: This product is for research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

Ralmitaront (RO6889450) is a trace amine-associated receptor 1 (TAAR1) partial agonist being investigated for its potential antipsychotic effects. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that Ralmitaront modulates dopaminergic and glutamatergic neurotransmission, which may contribute to its antipsychotic-like activity. In vitro, it shows high selectivity for TAAR1 with submicromolar potency (EC₅₀ ~100 nM) and partial agonist efficacy. In vivo studies suggest it can reduce hyperlocomotion induced by dopaminergic stimulants, indicative of antipsychotic potential.
