PS2g is a cytotoxic agent. PS2g bearing 2,6-dimethoxy possesses extremely potent antiproliferative activity with IC50 values 1.46 µM against K562 cells, along with excellent selectivity towards normal L-02 cells. PS2g may serve as a promising lead for the treatment of CML.
