Heronapyrrole B is a farnesylated 2-nitropyrrole bacterial metabolite that has been found in Streptomyces and has antibacterial activity. It is active against the Gram-positive bacteria S. aureus and B. subtilis but not Gram-negative P. aeruginosa or E. coli.
