XCF-37B is a HIF-1 inhibitor. XCF-37b demonstrated safety on NCM460 normal cells, exhibited the same antiangiogenic activity as the reference sunitinib, and significantly inhibited the formation of neovascularization in the absence of vascular networks. Furthermore, XCF-37b effectively suppressed VEGF-induced HUVEC growth with an IC50 value of 8.56 μM. XCF-37b clearly stopped tumors from migrating by suppressing the activity of VEGF/HIF-1α signaling pathway.
