Raddeanin A is a triterpenoid saponin that has been found in A. raddeana and has diverse biological activities. It binds to amyloid-β (1-42) (Aβ42; Kd = 27.63 µM). Raddeanin A (4 µM) inhibits the invasion and migration of, and induces apoptosis and cell cycle arrest at the G0/G1 phase in, HeLa cervical cancer cells.
