TAS2940 is an irreversible pan-ERBB inhibitor with increased brain penetrability for treatment of lung cancers where metastasis has occurred in the brain, as well as glioblastomas, with HER2/EGFR exon 20 insertions and EGFR aberrations. TAS2940 was shown to be effective and increased survival rate of mice in intracranial xenograft models of HER2/EGFR cancers. TAS2940 is currently undergoing phase 1 clinical trials for solid tumors to determine maximum tolerable dosage.
