WUN00951, also known as BP Fluor 680 Maleimide is a bright and photostable near-infrared (near-IR) fluorescent dye, spectrally identical to Alexa Fluor® 680 and IRDye® 680RD. It is commonly used in small animal imaging applications around the 700 nm wavelength and is well-suited for the 633 nm laser line. The maleimide functional group allows for efficient conjugation to thiol groups on proteins, oligonucleotides, or other low molecular weight ligands, forming stable thioether bonds. This product has no formal name at the moment.
