BI-4752 is a potent and full 5-HT2C receptor agonist with a clean profile. It possesses good in vitro potency on the 5-HT2C receptor (EC50 5-HT2C = 11 nM, Emax = 100%), as well as an excellent selectivity profile against the 5-HT2A (EC50 5-HT2A = 1881 nM) and 5-HT2B (EC50 5-HT2B = 2037 nM) receptors. The in vitro profile of BI-4752 is very similar to that of BI-3234.
