JFN-75223 is a fluorogenic substrate for trypsin, cathepsin B, and cathepsin H. Upon enzymatic cleavage by trypsin, cathepsin B, or cathepsin H, 7-amino-4-methylcoumarin (AMC) is released and its fluorescence can be used to quantify trypsin, cathepsin B, and cathepsin H activity. JFN-75223 displays excitation/emission maxima of 340-360/440-460 nm, respectively. This product has no formal name at the moment. For the convenience of communication, a temporary code name was therefore proposed according to MedKoo Chemical Nomenclature (see web page: https://www.medkoo.com/page/naming).
