MedKoo Cat#: 576291 | Name: Hexoprenaline HCl

Description:

WARNING: This product is for research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

Hexoprenaline is a stimulant of adrenergic beta 2 receptors. It is used as a bronchodilator, antiasthmatic agent, and tocolytic agent. Hexoprenaline was also an activator of the BKCa in the presence of Nitrendipine, indicating that the activation of the Ca++ sensitive channel is not an indirect effect of Ca++ currents via L-type Ca++ channels. Hexoprenaline is an effective tocolytic successfully used in premature labor treatment.
