Description:

WARNING: This product is for research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

HUN 12735, also known as 2-Amino-1,3-bis(carboxylethoxy)propane HCl salt is a PEG derivative containing an amino group with two terminal carboxylic acids. The amino group is reactive with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, carbonyls (ketone, aldehyde) etc. The terminal carboxylic acids can be reacted with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or DCC) to form a stable amide bond. PEG Linkers may be useful in the development of antibody drug conjugates. This product has no formal name at the moment. For the convenience of communication, a temporary code name was therefore proposed according to MedKoo Chemical Nomenclature (see web page: https://www.medkoo.com/page/naming).
