Description:

WARNING: This product is for research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

YUN 23500, also known as Propargyl-PEG5-t-butyl ester is a PEG derivative containing a propargyl group and a t-butyl protected carboxyl group. The propargyl group can be reacted with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules via copper catalyzed azide-alkyne Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage. The t-butyl protected carboxyl group can be deprotected under acidic conditions. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. This product has no formal name at the moment. For the convenience of communication, a temporary code name was therefore proposed according to MedKoo Chemical Nomenclature (see web page: https://www.medkoo.com/page/naming).
