Description:

WARNING: This product is for research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

HLN 17390, also known as 3,3',5'-Triiodo-L-thyronine, also known as rT3, inhibits the increase of sodium current generated by other thyroid hormone analogs in neonatal rat myocytes. The ratio of triiodothryonine (T3) to rT3 has been investigated as in indicator of insulin resistance. This product has no formal name at the moment. For the convenience of communication, a temporary code name was therefore proposed according to MedKoo Chemical Nomenclature (see web page: https://www.medkoo.com/page/naming).
