Description:

WARNING: This product is for research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

Thapsigargin is a non-competitive inhibitor of the sarco/endoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ ATPase (SERCA). It is a potent, cell-permeable, IP3-independent intracellular calcium releaser, that works by blocking the transient increase in intracellular Ca2+ induced by angiostatin and endostatin, and inducing apoptosis by disrupting intracellular free Ca2+ levels.
