Product Data
Biological target:
Rocuronium bromide has antagonistic properties that target the neuromuscular nicotinic acetylcholine receptor. Rocuronium bromide competitively binds to the nicotinic receptor at the motor end plate, and antagonizes acetylcholine binding.
In vitro activity:
The data from this study suggest that rocuronium bromide could repress the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway and autophagy to block the CXCL12 expression in CAFs, thereby weakening the CXCL12-mediated EC tumor progression. This study provides evidence that rocuronium bromide inhibits esophageal cancer. Reference: J Transl Med. 2023 Apr 8;21(1):248. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37029408/
In vivo activity:
This study evaluated the potency and time course of rocuronium-induced neuromuscular block after prolonged pretreatment with clonidine in rabbits. The effects of rocuronium with pretreatment of clonidine may have been increased, but no difference in the duration of action in comparison with the control group.
