Trabodenoson, also known as INNO-8875 and PJ 875, is a potent and highly selective adenosine A1 receptor agonist. Trabodenoson was shown to significantly reduce IOP in glaucoma and OHT patients and was well-tolerated. Trabodenoson is the first of a new class of compounds designed to lower IOP with a mechanism of action that augments the natural function of the trabecular meshwork, the main passageway to transport aqueous humor out of the eye.
