Insulin sensitizer C59 is a potentiator of insulin-induced plasma membrane translocation of glucose transporter 4 (Glut4). t enhances insulin-stimulated increases in plasma membrane levels of Glut4 in a reporter assay using C2C12 cells when used at a concentration of 10 µM.
