MedKoo Cat#: 150119 | Name: Fluocortin Butyl

Description:

WARNING: This product is for research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

Fluocortin butyl, a corticosteroid, is used through nasal application to improve symptoms and signs of perennial rhinitis. Fluocortin butyl induces the expression of protein lipocortin 1, an inhibitor of the enzyme phospholipase A2, an initiator of a cascade of molecular events that leads to the formation of inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins, and prostacyclins.
