MedKoo Cat#: 145230 | Name: Fluazifop

Description:

WARNING: This product is for research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

Fluazifop, the major chiral metabolite of fluazifop-butyl. Formation of fluazifop in soil is rapidly accompanied with the fast degradation of fluazifop-butyl. The S-enantiomer of fluazifop is degraded at a much higher rate than the R-enantiomer. The selective mode of action of fluazifop is the inhibition of fatty acid synthesis de novo.
