MedKoo Cat#: 145174 | Name: LK-732

Description:

WARNING: This product is for research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

LK-732 is a direct thrombin inhibitor. It has a strong basic group that is responsible for the appropriate interaction at the thrombin active site. At doses up to 5 mg/kg (i.v.), LK-732 did not cause significant changes of TAF and MAP. Studies show that LK-732 provokes release of histamine from mast cells by direct activation of G(i) proteins through the similar biochemical pathway as basic secretagogues.
