Holanamine is an antileishmanial agent, specifically targeting Leishmania donovani, and was found to non-competitively inhibit LdToP1B. Docking studies have shown that the antileishmanial activity is achieved through hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic interactions of holanamine with the N-terminal and hinge region of the large subunit of LTop1B.
