Dde Biotin Azide Plus is a PEG compound with both terminal biotin and azide functional groups, as well as a hydrazine-cleavable Dde moiety. Dde Biotin Azide Plus was designed with a copper-chelating system within its structure enabling the formation of strong, active copper complexes that act as both reactant and catalyst in the CuAAC reaction. The Deb moiety can be cleaved under mild conditions (2% aqueous hydrazine) to release the biotin tag and any avidin conjugate bound to it.
