Description:

WARNING: This product is for research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

Techtochrysin is a flavonoid that has been found in T. indica and has diverse biological activities. It induces adipogenesis and glucose uptake in 3T3-L1 adipocytes when used at concentrations of 12.5, 25, and 50 µg/ml. Techtochrysin is active against S. aureus, L. monocytogenes, B. subtilis, S. enterica, E. coli, V. cholera, K. pneumonia, S. dysenteriae, and P. aeruginosa (MICs = 24-64 µg/ml). It also scavenges peroxyl radicals in a cell-free assay when used at concentrations of 1 and 10 µM.
