HAM-1 is an Aha1-stimulated Hsp90 ATPase activity inhibitor. HAM-1 is able to almost completely suppress the Aha1-mediated stimulation of Hsp90 (93 % inhibition). HAM-1 binds Hsp90–Aha1 with a KD app of 24 uM. HAM-1 had a profound effect on the stimulation of the Hsp90 ATPase by Aha1. HAM-1 exhibits a strong inhibitory effect on MR activity by decreasing its activity to 40  6% in a concentration-dependent manner.
