AZ194, also known as CRMP2-Ubc9-NaV1.7 inhibitor 194, is a CRMP2-Ubc9-NaV1.7 inhibitor. HUN51998 was first reported in patent WO 2018144900, which functioned as a antagonist of small ubiquitin like modifier (SUMO) related modification (SUMOylation) of collapsin response mediator protein 2 (CRMP2) with potential application for the treatment of voltage gated sodium channel 1.7 (Nav1.7) related itch, anosmia, migraine event, and/or pain (e.g., neuropathic pain). This product has no formal name at the moment. For the convenience of communication, a temporal code name was therefore proposed according to MedKoo Chemical Nomenclature (see web page: https://www.medkoo.com/page/naming).
