Description:

WARNING: This product is for research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

LDN-05233 is a fluorogenic substrate for sirtuin 1 (SIRT1), SIRT2, and SIRT3. It is selectively deacylated by SIRT1-3 over SIRT6. Upon enzymatic cleavage by SIRT1, SIRT2, or SIRT3, LDN-05233 is released and its fluorescence can be used to quantify SIRT1, SIRT2, and SIRT3 activity. LDN-05233 displays excitation/emission maxima of 340-360/440-460 nm, respectively. This product has no formal name at the moment. For the convenience of communication, a temporary code name was therefore proposed according to MedKoo Chemical Nomenclature (see web page: https://www.medkoo.com/page/naming).
