SGC-CK2-1 is a novel potent CK2 inhibitor, showing equal potency in binding to both catalytic subunits of CK2: CK2α (CSNK2A1) and CK2α' (CSNK2A2). This compound shows equal potency in binding to both catalytic subunits of CK2: CK2α (CSNK2A1) and CK2α' (CSNK2A2). Casein kinase 2 (CK2) is highly expressed in cancer and has been considered a potential therapeutic target.
