Product Data
Biological target:
Gomisin G is an ethanolic extract of the stems of Kadsura interior; exhibits potent anti-HIV activity with EC50 and therapeutic index (TI) values of 0.006 microgram/mL and 300, respectively.
In vitro activity:
To determine whether Gomisin G affects colon cancer cells, this study investigated its effect on the viability of LoVo cells using the MTT assay. Treatment with Gomisin G significantly inhibited the growth of LoVo cells in a dose and time dependent manner (Fig. 1A).
