Temurtide is a synthetic analog of MDP with excellent adjuvant activity. Temurtide was pyrogenic only at very high doses, it did not induce adjuvant arthritis. Adjuvant activities towards many antigens including influenza virus hemagglutinin, hepatitis B surface antigen, herpes simplex 2 virus glycoprotein, Epstein-Barr virus, SIV, HIV-1 glycoprotein 120, melanoma and β-lymphoma tumor antigens were observed.
