HODHBt is a STAT5-SUMO protein-protein interaction inhibitor.
In vitro activity:
As expected, HODHBt caused a significant increase in p24 positive cells over IL-2-treated cells, albeit at a lower level than cells induced with αCD3/αCD28 (Figure 2B). These results demonstrate that HODHBt-induced HIV-1 reactivation is capable of reducing the latent reservoir in vitro.
