Wogonoside is a flavonoid glycoside derived from the root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, known for its anti-inflammatory, anti-angiogenic, and anticancer properties. In colon cancer cells, wogonoside inhibits cell growth, induces apoptosis, and promotes mitochondrial-mediated autophagy by modulating the PI3K/Akt/mTOR/p70S6K signaling pathway. Additionally, it has been reported to suppress tumor growth and metastasis in endometrial cancer.
