Description:

WARNING: This product is for research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

FUN 40700, also known as N-(Azido-PEG3)-N-(PEG2-amine)-PEG3-acid is a PEG derivative containing an azido group, an amino group, and a terminal carboxylic acid. The azide group can react with alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage. The amino group is reactive with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, carbonyls (ketone, aldehyde) etc. The terminal carboxylic acid can be reacted with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or DCC) to form a stable amide bond. PEG Linkers may be useful in the development of antibody drug conjugates. This product has no formal name at the moment. For the convenience of communication, a temporary code name was therefore proposed according to MedKoo Chemical Nomenclature (see web page: https://www.medkoo.com/page/naming).
