BPH-252 is an inhibitor of the enzyme farnesylpyrophosphate (FPP) synthase. BPH-252 had proved to be potent inhibitor against Trypanosoma cruzi proliferation in in vitro assays. BPH-252 is a useful lead compound for the development of novel antiamebic and antimalarial drugs.
